Jon Delerious is a renowned house DJ and producer hailing from Calgary, Canada. With an undying passion for electronic music and an innate talent for crafting infectious beats, Jon has solidified his position as an influential figure in the local and international house music scene.Born and raised in Calgary, Jon Delerious discovered his love for music at a young age. First discovering D.J.ing at age 14 watching hip hop videos on MTV he bought his first DJ mixer at Radio Shack. After linking up his parents turntable Jon would make tape loops, scratch and practice beat matching. Once he found the pulsating rhythms and soulful melodies of house music, Jon was hooked! From then he has embarked on a journey to master the art of DJing and later music production. Over the years, Jon has honed his skills behind the decks and in the studio, immersing himself in the rich tapestry of sounds that define the genre.With a distinct blend of deep, groovy and uplifting vibes, Jon Delerious has crafted a signature sound that captivates audiences around the globe. Pushing the DJ and rave lifestyle in the Pacific Northwest since 2000, supporting the community by creating a slew of residencies, coordinating gigs for other DJs, promoting shows and developing the culture through platforms like Party People Sound Solutions, Primitive Hustle, Footwork Entertainment and PK Sound Victoria. Creating connections and allies, trailing a wake of inspired revellers hungry for more. Primitive’s art and output has been strengthened through many collaborations, and now becoming his core focus, his DJ schedule leaving little time for heading up other projects. MATTERSON - Set Time 10PM - 11PM
After being inspired by the countless local events featuring local and international DJ's, Matterson decided to take up the craft himself. Starting with the electro craze of the late '00 era, he first played parties for Sonica Late Nights and Westcoast Funktions where he learned much about the craft. As time moved forward, he started contributing to local burn community events, growing into a more mature house sound in the process. Today he is one of the founding members of the Left Coast Crew, providing quality events on Vancouver Island. Funky, Deep and Tech areas of House showcase his ever increasing development.
CHRISTOPH MAITLAND - Set Time 9PM - 10PM - Deep House Set
Christoph Maitland is an award winning DJ, music producer and show runner out of Victoria, Canada for the last 25 years.Not one to limit himself by genre, his productions span House, Deep House, Melodic House & Techno, Synthwave, Breakbeat, Drum & Bass and Nu Disco. As a producer he has heard his work be played on BBC Radio 1 by Annie Nightingale, be featured as the main demo song for FL Studio 9, and charted in the Beatport top 100 of multiple genres. His debut album There's A Light will be released in Spring 2024 and features remixes from 15 Western Canadian artists.As a DJ he first gained popularity in the early 2000s through his ability to move dance floors and an arsenal of seamless mixing and DJ tricks. He went on to become club resident at Hush, a Canadian underground institution from 2002 - 2014 where he shared stages with the biggest names in electronic music like Mark Farina, Johnny Fiasco, DJ Dan, Kaskade, Hatiras, Steve Angello, Above & Beyond, Dylan Rhymes, Meat Katie and many more. He now holds residency at his own night Houseworx, at Lucky Bar, Victoria.
