The Wild Romantics and Brothers reunite to rock Lacey-Lou's One Year Anniversary Party on April 11th. This is going to be one for the books, people, so mark it down on your calendars.
Show starts at 8:30 and admission is $10.
The Wild Romantics:
Imagine yourself walking down the streets of a rundown western town. The southern winds are harsh on your face so you duck in to the town saloon to find refuge. You enter and are startled by what you immediately see: A badass lady outlaw and a tweed-clad poet are alone in the middle of the saloon dancing and holding each other close. The town band chugs along to a passionate version of Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes. You glance once more at the couple in the middle of the floor and notice a beautiful yet strangely out of place chandelier above the two of them. The light dances in their eyes and all of a sudden they are staring right at you.

Brothers:
Brothers Owen and Shane Hooper love two things above all else: being extremely cheap and playing rock and roll. The band Brothers was the natural conclusion to the lads two favorite things. A truly grassroots project, Brothers wrote, produced, mixed and released their Double Single in the basement of their parents house on Salt Spring. Since the release, the boys have managed to rock out tons of sweet shows in and around Victoria and they hope to complete and release a full length in the late spring.
