VanMusic Superchido Super Chido Productions and CJSF have teamed up with two of the best and most exciting bands in Vancouver to present the CD release party of Dope Soda, the best ska band in Vancouver Island.

After a great success at the Ska festin Victoria, Dope Soda will be returning from a triumphal tour in Western Canada to present their new material at the ANZA club in Vancouver.

Dope Soda formed in late 2011, a fresh concoction of six of the top jazz, rock, and Jamaican-music-inspired musicians from Vancouver Island, with membership in acts such as Current Swell, The Bananafish Dance Orchestra and The Kiltlifters.

The Elixxxirs are a fixture on Vancouver's live scene and they regularly tour Western Canada, building a reputation as capable hosts for the kind of night that shouldn't be followed by any concrete plans.

Taking influences from a wide varitey of musical genre's including ska, reggae, swing, jazz, rockabilly and punk. The Band has created a sound that is familar and yet distinctivly unique. The Bone Daddies present a musical momentum that is hard not to get swept up in.
