Event Description

Captain Mojo and the Yayas features the talents of Victoria musicians Brooke Maxwell, Matt Pease, Kelly Fawcett and Peter Dowse and explores the origins of Rock and Roll and Rhythm and Blues with a deep dive into the dance music coming out of New Orleans from the 1950's to the 1970s. They will perform classics and deep cuts by artists like Fat Domino, Huey Piano Smith, Lee Dorsey, Snooks Eaglin, The Meters, The Neville Brothers and Dr John.
