| WILLEM User Info... | Willem here, damn fuckin rigts I thought I lost Dan's recordings, but alas, I have found ze missing CDs, so yeah, Not so sure what to do with the recordings, considering they were his originals and all, did he have family here? anyways, maybe the music could be sold, and profits could go towards troubled youth counselling or something along those lines, I think Dan would want it that way... | Aaron User Info... | loryn and i went to skumbala this year and she was walking past a van that was playing drunk live and started singing along and a woman inside started crying. who should it be but beer cans fucking MOM. we met his mom, hung out with her. she is an amazing lady and told us stories about him. i guess he started out playing piano and told his mom he wanted a guitar because "piano is for pussies like elton john" she insisted there be beer at his funeral and that he be buried in his favorite clothes and not some stupid tux, and no one should have to wear a tux to his funeral. he was cremated and his remains have been spread all across the country and even as far as ireland. i regret that i was in a hurry to leave and we didnt have time to get her email address. his music gives me chills, ive never heard someone sing with so much heart. | F'nHostile User Info... | Wow. Dan is my cousin. And he passed when I was a kid. The few memory's I have of the guy have been ones of someone that I quickly looked up to. I didn't really know him and I know his sister Nancy and brother mike not much more but they were my big older cousins. Reading the comments was a roller coaster of emotions for someone that I spend very little time could make such an impression on me. Music was always huge in my life but I remember when I was 10 or so maybe younger my aunt which is his mom was getting married and at the reception the look on him and everyone else face at the table when I told them who my favorite musician was and why. It was and still continues today to be Dimebag Darrell. Aaron you caught me so off gaurd when I read about you meeting my aunt Debbie. That lady is important to me and always had time.for me and my brothers. She was my dad's best friend and if you knew my dad wouldn't believe he took shit from.anyone exempt my little auntie Debbie. I miss everyone and haven't talked to family in years since my mom died and haven't talked to my dad even longer but reading what you posted was the closest I've felt to family in very long time Thank you so much. If anyone can help me find more of his music my email is [email protected] or you can fb me Jesse Armstrong from Brooks alberta. I only have 2 songs from.him that I play everyday but panhandlers delight sometimes gets played way to much if I'm feeling down on my self. I need to hear more. I remember asking my aunt and Nancy I'd they did but nothing ever came from it and I don't lie to bug them about Dan.
