Okay, for anyone who hasn't stumbled across this album, I reccomend that as soon as posible you try to download a copy of of Macho Man Randy Savage's Rap album "Be a man."

Indeed, it seems that Macho Man Randy Savage (the wrestler) put out a rap albuma few years back.

Words cannot describe what an incredible thing this album is. I've listened to this thing many times and I can't even begin to describe how funny it is. Every beat, every lyric, the sound of Randy's voice... No comic genius of any level could devise a comedy piece that could even play in the same balpark as this.

His voice seems to me to be the absolute oposite of rap.

Just listen to it, I can't do it justice.

I could blabber for ever about this thing, but you really just need to download - Fri, 14 Oct 2005 2:31am

My favourite song is "Remember Me". Oh jeez. The pain in my stomach with the laughter. - Fri, 14 Oct 2005 3:52am

I've had that album since it came out, unfortunately, it hurts to listen to it. All it is is Savage bitching about some wrestler, BE A MAN!!! - Fri, 14 Oct 2005 11:04am

Indeed it hurts, mostly the stomach muscles from laughing.

To be fair there are a number of themes reperesnted in the album.

the first and foremost, is slagging Hulk Hogan. All done in a maner suitable for 11 year old boys to hear.
"I'm gonna kick you in the butt and wash your mouth out with soap"

There's another song "Macho Thing" about how all the laides love Macho Man.

There's also a romantic romantic rap-balady thing about some special lady and there's another more sentimental track where he pays tribute to his deceased friend Mr Perfect.

I think he did the album with the rascalls. It's really funny because it's got all this production, and smooth backup singers and stuff and the Macho Man comes bustin in with his hillarious voice and the most basic, pointless lyrics you could imagine.

A gem I tell you. - Fri, 14 Oct 2005 4:28pm

Great fucking album!
I read somewhere that after this album was released Macho Man was making an appearance for some wrestling promotion(I think) and Hogan happened to be there smoozing and I can't remember the exact details but words were exchanged and Macho ran away and cancelled all of the scheduled appearances that he was booked for due to unsafe working conditions. Anyone else hear about this or have I fallen for internet bullshit again? - Fri, 14 Oct 2005 5:28pm

The rap group he did it with is the Raskulls from somewhere in the US, and it's not the Canadian Rascals (thank Crom). - Fri, 14 Oct 2005 11:08pm

I've got the 45 of "Land of 1000 dances?!!" - The Wrestlers

Starring Capt Lou Albano and way too many retired freaks....

Jesse Ventura looks especially bad in his feather boa on the cover....
